How does the HK service charge toggle work?
In Hong Kong, restaurants often add a mandatory 10% service charge to your bill. Toggle ON means the charge is already included — no extra is added. Toggle OFF means 10% will be calculated and added on top before splitting.
Is tip calculated before or after service charge?
If service charge is already included (toggle ON), tip % is applied to the original bill. If not included (toggle OFF), 10% service charge is first added, then the optional tip % is applied to the new total.
